I just received a new role from my client at a major investment bank in New York City. They are looking for a senior java developer to join their regulatory project involved with P&L attribution and the risk/trade life-cycle. Below is a job description:High Level Description
Developer required to support TOP20 program: P&L Attribution. Developer required to create server-side service component for trader driven model-inputs, this delivery is part of the Trade Lifecycle workstream and is on the critical path for successful project completion and Fed MRIA close-out. Funding is secured under P&L Attribution and has been approved by the GBS Exco
Desired skill-set:
1. In depth knowledge of Java fundamentals (GC, Generics, Memory)
2. Multi threading in Java
3. Experience in designing datamodels
4. Experience in working with messaging layers(Web service, TIBCO, JMS)
5. Working knowledge of SQL
6. Ability to multitask
Nice to have(s)
1. Knowledge of Spring, Camel
2. Working knowledge of fixed income products
3. C#/.Net
Ideally this candidate should come from a financial background particularly within fixed income, mortgage backed securities or asset backed securities. This position is extremely urgent as they need the developer to join by the end of February.
