We are currently looking for a Radio Engineer for one of our clients based in the Netherlands and active in the telecommunications sector.
Location: West of Holland (between Amsterdam and Utrecht)
Contract duration: 4 months with possible extensions
Start-date: ASAP
Languages: Dutch (English is a plus)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission:
EXECUTION OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TASKS WITHIN THE NETWORK OF DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS, UNDER SUPERVISION OF THE FIELD CONTROL CENTER WITHIN THE RULES AND GUIDELINES, THUS TAKING CARE OF MAINTENANCE OF THE NETWORKS OF DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS.
Required Skills:
- Radio frequency experience (2G - 3G)
- Transmission experience
- Climbing skills (Climbing is part of the job)
- VCA certificate is also needed
- At least LBO+ or MTS work and thinking level.
-Technical knowledge basic electro and telecom technique
-Little experience of E-examinations
-Little knowledge of ARBO
- Fluent in Dutch (English is a plus)
Responsibilities:
1. Network Mutations
Taking care for inspections for customers, taking the internal and external rules and guidelines and formal laws in account, so the security of the working locations remains guaranteed.
Knowledge of 2G and 3 G
Operational Network Knowledge
Configuration knowledge.
Knowledge of built acceptance
Testing network elements.
2. Technical advice
Gives asked and unasked advice and information to stakeholders to support well considered decisions about maintenance and investments.
3. Administration and cost control
The digestion of executed preventive tasks by means of check lists to contribute to the efficiency within the cost administration
4. Product improvement
Taking care of registrations of disturbances and other maintenance tasks in the network, unasked or asked by the supervisor, to support product improvement.
