Description
This leading IT company are currently recruiting for an experienced Microsoft Engineer to work on major new projects including data migration within their Data Centre. You will have a high level of knowledge with Virtualisation (Hyper V 2008 R2 and ideally Hyper V 2012). Experience with Dell chassis (R 710's/R720's/MD's) is advantageous. Part of the project will be moving Dell clusters to UCS clusters, migrations of virtual machines, Active Directory health checks and remediation and general infrastructure support. UCS desirable not essential but some exposure would be highly advantageous.
Requirements -
- Knowledge of Hyper V 2008 R2 environment mandatory.
- Virtualisation.
- Strong Microsoft experience.
- Active Directory remediation
- Backups checkups/Server patching
- SCCM
- SVMM would be good
There will also be some SOE (desktop) work resolving 3rd level resolutions which are escalated from the service desk.
