Computer Futures are seeking x3 Senior Storage Engineer's/Architects to work for a market leading enterprise level client based in Oxford/Milton Keynes/ Buckinghamshire areas.You will be working in a very successful team of Engineers and Architect and be responsible to ensure storage & backup solutions are expertly selected, designed, delivered, optimized and supported during the entire infrastructure lifecycle.
You will have an active role in the following phases: Strategy, Design, Implementation, Optimize, Support and Budgeting.
The ideal candidate will have as many of the following:
Designing Storage Based Solutions
Enterprise Storage Arrays (Make and Model)
- EMC Symmetrix or Clarrion
- Hitachi (HDS)
- IBM Shark, DS8000
- HP EVA, XP
Implemented Features on the array
- Cloning
- Snap
- Block
- CIFS or NFS
- Replication (local or remote)
- Method, such as SRDF, Recover Point, Veritas
- Type and model of SAN switch managed
- Cisco MDS
- Brocade
- McData
