Summary:
Our client a Global Service Provider urgently seeks a Cisco CCIE Security Expert (or Service Provider/R&S) with strong ASA, Firewall, VPN architecture background.
The role involves Service Provider delivery of projects to strategic customers. Projects vary considerably between security reviews; design and implementation of Cisco security products; and involvement as part of virtual multi-discipline teams as the security lead in large-scale design and implementation projects.
You will be certified to CCIE, dual CCIE R&S/Security a definite advantage, as are CISSP and other relevant security qualifications (eg CRISC, ISO 27000 LA, Certified Ethical Hacker etc).
Skills Required:
6+ years of security experience is required, of which 4+ must be on network security. In addition expert level knowledge in network security including architecture and configuration of Cisco Routers, Switches and a wide range of security products is required.
In addition to Cisco products, good knowledge and ideally certifications on Juniper (Netscreen) Firewall products is sought for this particular role.
The candidate will possess expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment using security products from Cisco and other vendors. Very strong technical account liaison and customer management/consulting skills are mandatory.
