Description
IT Systems Engineer – Data Centre relocations / DR – contract – Fed Gov security clearance required.
Leading federal government agency currently looking for a seasoned IT Systems Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
In this newly created position, you will be responsible for work on a number of large-scale Data Centre projects such as Data Centre and Disaster Recovery builds and relocations .
You will also have the chance to work on the implementation of new agency-wide policies and procedures.
Ideal applicants for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- At least eight years of experience working as a System Engineer
- A strong background in the design and relocation of IT Data Centres
- Experience with setting up Disaster recovery plans
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Data Centre technologies
- The ability to work autonomously
- Great communication skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
