RAN (SW) Test Engineer – UK & Ireland
On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications company, Manning Global is currently looking for number of experienced RAN Software Test Engineer for a 1 year contract position in the UK and Ireland.

Purpose of the job:

• Lead and liaise with Samsung project team and define the test activities to fulfil technical requirements
• Prepare the Acceptance Testing test objects and procedures for RAN element (eNodeB)
• Understands Product on SW and HW in detailed level
• Execute the acceptance testing
• Provide support during Rollout and Operation of the network
• Interface customer regarding the RAN technology and technical deployment topics and issues

Responsibilities:

• To provide engineering support on product level to support project delivery and product acceptance
• Provide support for RAN technical requirements clarification and consequent test requirements
• Execute acceptance tests together with customer representatives
• Troubleshoot and support error finding and resolution implementation processes

Person Specification:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in Product Support: a. Excellent knowledge in Trouble shooting and Test case planning and execution for other Mobile vendors: b. BTS acceptance knowledge
• Educated to Degree Level, preferably in Telecoms, Electronics or Computer Science
• MS Office Suite (Competent User)
• Excel, Word & PowerPoint (High Competence)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Numerate with good report writing skills
