C++ Developer, Windows XP, MySQL, Scrum, UML, MS Access.
The software developer contributes to the realisation of a chosen software solution, based upon the functional design parameters. The individual will be involved in in the software architecture through setting up technical designs and building and testing the application, including interfaces.
Key skills:
*Knowledge of windows XP Embedded
*Knowledge of C++
*Experience with OO programming
*Knowledge of MySQL, MS Access, gSOAP, Corba, Scrum, UML
*Knowledge of sales and administration processes
*Experience with Design patterns, Model View Controller
*Development environment and tools: Microsoft Visual Studio 6.00, Enterprise Architect (SVN, JIRA)
Duties:
Preparation phase:
*Contribute to impact analysis
*Setup architectural analysis
*Advise over and contribute to the architecture of the application software
Realisation phase:
*Design requested changes in Enterprise Architect
*Review functional designs
*Programming required software
*Deliver program and unit testing of delivered software
*Rectify faults
*Administration and maintenance of technical documentation
*Train users
