Our client, a manufacturing company based in Chippenham, is currently looking to secure a Mechanical Build / Mechanical Assembly Technician on a contract basis.Position: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Chippenham
Hours: Days
Pay rate: 7.00 per hour
Skills required: Previous mechanical assembly experience. The ability to work with hand tools and interpret basic mechanical assembly drawings.
Your Duties will include:-
* Mechanical build of subassemblies
* Mounting subassemblies on to plates
* Working to basic mechanical assembly drawings and schedules (photographs)
* Basic soldering skills
Role specific training will be given; however, a sound mechanical assembly background is required for this role
