System Administrator - Jacksonville, Florida
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- 3+ years working as a Linux system administrator (Ubuntu/Debian is a plus)
- Experience configuring and managing LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/Python/PHP)
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:* experience configuring and administering network services â eg NFS, DNS, SSH, DHCP, etc. - ability to write scripts in one or more of the following languages: BASH, Perl, Python
- good understanding of Linux networking, should be able to configure interfaces, set up routes, etc.
- comfortable working with network cabling, patch panels, and cross-connects
- comfortable supporting Windows desktops
- strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- self-starter, someone who takes the initiative to do research before asking questions
