Description
My client, a top operator located in Houston, is looking for a Subsea Engineer with broad experience throughout the whole industry. This is a long term contract that could run past two years but will be signed as a year contract at first. This opportunity gives the appropriate candidate experience with new technology, such as Cameron's new tree. Will be based here in Houston.Currently my client is brining in more Subsea Equipment for a new drill ship & well. This candidate will need broad knowledge of Subsea Equipment. They will be helping my client with specifications, quality plans and interfacing with equipment vendors.
The requirements for this position are as follows
- 15+ years of Subsea Experience
- Broad knowledge of the Subsea Industry as a whole
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Past experience interfacing with equipment vendors
- Past experience with an equipment vendor is a plus
- Must posses great leadership skills
- Some travel may be required, but will not be extensive.
- Writing equipment specs
- Broad Subsea technical experience
Experience with Subsea equipment included, but not limited to;
- Test Trees, Expro preferred
- IWOC Systems
- Horizontal X-mass Trees
- Tubing Hangers
- Upper completions
- Compensated Coil Tubing lift frames
