Mechanical Engineer ll
Looking for someone who wants to join a world-class CT Detector Team, building the best and highest technology products. Responsibilities will include supporting the process, tooling and equipment development for new detector assemblies.
* Tasks will include, but not limited to: performing design of experiments to develop process parameters, fabrication and testing of sub-components of the detector, commissioning and qualifying process and test equipment, and diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
* Work closely with an integrated engineering and operations team, using 6 Sigma and Lean methodologies to tackle technical challenges.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* 4 year Engineering degree or equivalent
* Ability to develop production tooling and processes
* Ability to commission and qualify equipment
* Ability to write work instructions and train operators
* Data collection experience
* Proven proficiency to independently perform troubleshooting on parts and fixturing
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate strong team and interpersonal skills
* Willing to work overtime or weekends or off shifts
Desired
* Demonstrated ability to manage, interpret and drive tasks and ability to act independently and make sound judgment alone when needed
* Experience working on development projects
* Experience working in a production environment
