Performs project engineering work for warehouse support, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in developing/improving processes and/or systems. Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of alternatives. Develops thoughts and ideas into engineered solutions with guidance from supervisor or other engineers. Effectively participates in a team setting to achieve results.

·          Assist in the implementation, validation and support of new and existing processes.

·          Contribute to analysis of costs, capacity, equipment, and productivity improvements.

·          Provide analytical problem solving and process troubleshooting support.

·          Formally report on monthly progress.

·          Assignments may include process research, equipment design and development or process design and development.

·          Prepares specifications and/or related documentation.

·          Trains engineers, technicians and non-technical associates.

·          Leads small to moderate scope projects or supports moderate to large scope projects.

·          Utilizes project management tools to complete assignment on time according to budgetary constraints and customer expectations.

·          Applies and utilizes current process control methodologies.

·          Acts as a project resource for technical questions related to processes and/or product-lines.

·          Communicates progress through updates and meetings.

·          Coordinates the work of drafters, technicians and others who assist on specific assignments (as needed).

 

 

Requirements:

·          BS degree in a technical field plus appropriate continuous training. Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering preferred.

·          4+ years of experience in a developmental professional position.

·          Typically responsible for multiple project assignments of moderate complexity.

·          Applies proven technology and/or designs.

·          Applies reason and logic in problem solving.

·          Good oral and written communication skills.

·          Good computer and office software skills.
