Salesforce Developer - VisualForce / ApexCity, London
£60,000 - £65,000 + benefits
E-Resourcing have a requirement for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a prestigious financial client based in London. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplined agile team where they will be directly involved in the definition, design and implementation of solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technical
*Design and build web interfaces on the Force.com platform using Point & Click (force.com) and Visualforce/Apex
*Ensure solutions are robust and technically fit for purpose
*Ensure solutions are robust and technically fit for purpose
*Ensure technical debt is avoided where possible and captured and resolved when incurred
*Participate in a peer group of developers for the purposes of knowledge sharing
Miscellaneous
*Ensure agreed upon standards of quality are met
*Develop and foster knowledge and skills transfer, to remove key person dependencies
*Contributing to the organisation's standards, methods and procedures.And ensuring that these initiatives are met
*Work as part of an Agile team implementing software development best practices
Skills & Experience:
*University degree, preferably educated in the field of Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems
*A minimum of 12 months Salesforce development experience, but ideally 18 months or more
*Certified at least 401 level
*A proven record of delivering successful applications utilising APEX code & Visualforce- ideally on top of existing Service/Sales Cloud applications and/or standalone business applications

*Experience of integrating Salesforce with other web and server based systems
oSalesforce API (Rest/SOAP)
*A thorough understanding of Agile development and delivery
*A passion for cloud based software engineering with very high standards
*Desirable:
oService Cloud implementations
oExperience in working with online subscription/billing management platforms, e.g. Zuora
oExperience of installing/integrating Salesforce AppExchange solutions
