My Client is a leading enterprise solutions architecture company based in South
Dublin. Business is booming having grown 300% in the last 4 years, winning
contracts and growing their reputation. They have some of the largest EMC accounts
in the country. Now they need to start investing in expanding their team by taking on
a Senior Enterprise Storage Architect role. You will join a great team of 12, in a nice,
flexible enviornment and report to the technical director.
The role will be very varied and you will get the chance to work on some of the
biggest storage projects around, gaining invaluable experience. You will get to
broaden your horizons by getting involved in these. They expect you to be the kind of
person that will not only be involved in the desgin and consultantion but will also
muck in and play a hands on role when necessary. There will be lots of opportunity to
move as the company grows.
What experience do you need to have?
- Windows Server 2003 & 2008 Administration Experience
- 3+ years' experience with large enterprise SAN storage environments
- EMC certifications within Symmetrix DMX/VMAX, Cellera / CLARiiON / VNX / or similar
- Experience as a technical Consultant / Implementation engineer desirable
- Project management experience desirable
- VMWare architecture design and implementation
- SAN, NAS, Unified Storage skills - particularly with EMC
- Cloud architecture and design experience
- Good documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must be comfortable presenting and consulting up to board level

- Solaris on SPARC and x86
- Sun Storage
- Symantec
- Commvault
- Microsoft Exchange 2010
