Global Banking Team working with leading Financial Services brands in theUK. The Position
You will take responsibility for the full project life-cycle within a successful and expanding team. The role itself incorporates hands-on Java and C# Development, along with interacting directly with the client to gather requirements, design products and mentor junior members of the team through the life-cycle of development, deployment and testing. As this is a high-profile position within a successful team, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on demanding projects delivering to exacting deadlines.
Technical Skills Required
The team are currently undertaking a Greenfield Migration project, and as such they require extensive experience in the following:
Java/J2EE.
Experience working in Websphere Applications Server and WebServices.
Strong database skills in SQL Server/ Oracle
Other desirable experience is in C#/ASP.NET (and WebServices);
Design Patterns, SOA, HTML/ Javascript/ JSF; Junit, JQuery,Ajax, XML/ XSLT.
