GI Risk Framework Manager

Description

• Be the central focal point and have responsibility for providing first line governance, assurance, monitoring and control of all CISGIL business unit risk types within the first line with particular focus on conduct, TCF, regulatory and operational risks

• Ensure all prudential risk reporting and management is aligned to and feeds into the holistic risk management within CISGIL and CBG from across the business unit

• Lead the development of the risk framework within CISGIL and management of adherence to the risk framework and risk appetite including all relevant methods and standards

• Lead the delivery of the appropriate risk identification, measurement, management, monitoring and reporting of all CISGIL risk types through the risk register as defined in the CBG risk framework

• Ensure all activities within the business are managed within the risk and governance structure and monitor and prepare reports on these to the relevant CISGIL and CBG committees

• Lead the collation and reporting of own risk solvency assessment activities to demonstrate Solvency II compliance

• Be the key liaison point between CISGIL first line and the second line Risk directorate in the role of risk co-ordinator, in particular the second line Insurance Risk officer team

• Management and consolidation of all CISGIL regulatory requests from a first line perspective

• Monitor and report on regulatory developments which may impact on CISGIL

• Provide partnering expertise and support to first line colleagues within CISGIL in implementing and embedding risk management framework approaches and reports

• Ensure the new product design and approval process is adhered to within CISGIL providing review and challenge to new and existing product development and compliance

• Provide proactive first line challenge to all areas of the business unit to ensure that risk management across CISGIL is fit for purpose and meets the required quality and standard

• Pro-actively identify and escalate risk exposures to first line risk owners with the appropriate support and challenge and monitor that action plans are in place to address the risk

• Lead the on-going implementation and embedding of policies and control standards as they apply to CISGIL in liaison with the second line risk officer's department
