SAP BW - Financial Reporting/Consolidation
My client is searching for an experienced SAP Business Intelligence Consultant with proven Financial reporting knowledge. In this role your job will be to work within the ITS Application Service Center. The ITS provides Business Intelligence information to maintain systems for data collection, integration, analysis and presentation of business information to different departments of the client group throughout Europe. With a team of 35 people, the client operate on three technologies (SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects and SAS) and are organized into two pools of expertise, Design (evolutive maintenance and prject) and Operation (daily monitoring of system). To strengthen the team and support them in the realization of one international project (European in scope), they are looking for a Senior BI (Business Intelligence) Business Analyst (pool design) specialised in the finance-controlling domain who, together with other members of the track and under the responsibility of a lead, will handle the following responsibilities:
- Based on functional specification coming from business you are able to challenge them (coherence, best solution, cost, ...) before translating them into technical specifications.
- You are able to develop and test an entire data model (from extraction to cube and reporting)
- Organize and participate to workshop with business to understand specification and challenge needs
- Transition of developed applications to the operation team
- Participation in projects related to his/her track and suport the It project leader in writing essentials document for the project (functional technical).
- Participate and support end user testing (acceptance)
- Monitor evolutionary maintenance requests from the reference customers, in complete transparency with respect to these
- Management of complex incidents associated with its track during testing phase and deployment
- Transition of developed applications to the operation team
- Participation in the development and monitoring of the maintenance budget allocated to the track by the customer
- Provide BI training (BW Analyzer - BW Query Designer)
- Coach junior BI developpers - Work with BI developper located in Roumania
You will require at least 8 years of significant experience in functional analysis for an area of business intelligence and you are ready to expand your technical and business knowledge - You are able to challenge the request of a customer in order to understand his needs and provide a solution with significant added value - You must have knowledge in the domain of SAP Business Warehouse (preferably BI 7.O), knowledge of:
1. Integrated Planning
2. Sem BPS knowledge is an asset -
You must be fluent in French or Dutch and you have a strong operational knowledge of English. Dutch or any other European languages as Italian, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, ... are an asset. - sap FI-CO background knowledge is a plus with preferably experience in consolitation of financial and controlling data of multinational companies - You must be willing to travel several days per month (Europe) - you are able to manage a small team of technical analysts
