Senior Linux Engineer AVP, Investment Bank,LondonOne of London's tier one investment banks are looking for a senior Linux engineer / systems administrator to help support their high frequency trading environment.
The role will focus around the resolution of Linux based server issues. You will also be tasked with maintaining scripts, batch files and package for the Linux environment.

Technical Skill Set:
- Experience in Linux Administration (RHEL 5/6)
- Kernel tuning experience
- Exposure to networking and networking topology
- Strong scripting ability - Bash / Perl / Python
- Puppet / Kickstart / Yum
- Low latency experience
- Previous HFT / Investment banking experience (advantageous)
- Understanding of what milli-, nano-, and micro-seconds are and why they're important in HFT
