Description
Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks / AutoCAD / Structures / Mechanisms / Drives / Actuators / SPM / Automation / Machining / Fabrication.I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in Hampshire.
Your role will be to support turnkey engineering project activities and will include:
- Generation of designs using 3D (ideally Solidworks) and 2D (ACAD) design software.
- Engineering evaluation and assessment including feasibility studies, calculations and process definition.
- Developing documentation including reports, manual, technical construction files, risk assessments and method statements.
Experience:
- Highly proficient in 3D (ideally Solidworks) and 2D CAD software.
- Basic analysis and calculations for mechanisms, drives, actuators etc.
- Basic analysis and calculations for structures
- Special purpose / automated / mechanised engineering systems
- General manufacturing techniques including machining and fabrication
- Designing for manufacture
