Description
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Component/Obsolescence engineer to work on an initial 3 month contract in the Sussex/Hampshire area.We are looking for candidates who have prior experience in this area and are able to come in and hit the ground running.
The role:
+ Experience sourcing components from suppliers
+ Be able to streamline and standardise components the company are currently using
+ Ensure that all new components selected are able to fit in with existing company products are cost effective and up to relevant standards
+ To liaise with other sites to ensure a consistent approach to component procurement and use throughout the entire organisation.
The contract will run for 3 months but there is a high chance of extension.
Rate for this role ranges from £15-£25 per hour.
