Description
Our client, a small Government Department is looking for a web developer build a web service/API solution following solution designs, which will enable them to release data and consume user generated data. In this role, you will work in collaboration with ICT and Digital Online Access staff to build a web service, and initial implementation of open source search solution. There is a requirement to provide maintenance documentation and work closely with staff and solutions architect.
Duties include:
- Identify any software and database integration issues
- Develop web service/API including third party management layer
- Develop search for API data and feed into related website
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in .NET environment, message queuing and SQL databases
- Demonstrate previous experience in designing API solutions
- Hands on experience with Solr including schemas, and security standards such as SSL
- Experience with business-to-business data interchange and XML Server builds skills across VM systems
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT/computer sciences
