Description
Responsibilities- Focuses around the SAP ERP Deployment and Continuous Improvement work necessary to support the global model and providing strong SAP SME support within Finance Record to Report
- Performs SAP Finance Configuration, Interface handling, Functional specs, Testing & Deployment in General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.
- Supports other SAP projects as needed.
- Focuses on SAP's Finance & Controlling modules with a good understanding of the integration aspects with other functional areas
- Delivers SAP deployment and continuous improvement enhancements for Finance Solutions
- Participates in full delivery life cycle, including planning, requirement and impact analysis, estimation, design, build, test, deploy and support
- Teams up with Finance colleagues and other integrated functional teams (eg Sales & Distribution, Procurement, Manufacturing etc) and work-streams (Development, Data conversion, Security, Training, Compliance etc) to coordinate the delivery
- Drives execution of small and large cross-functional projects relating to short and long-term functional business requirements
- Monitors, evaluates, and controls project performance using sophisticated technical expertise and project leadership skills
- Monitors risks to projects and deliverables
- Develops solutions to complex problems through the application of ingenuity and creativity
- May have regular responsibility for contributing to the estimate of operating, project or capital budgets
- Responsible for stakeholder relationships: Ensures that stakeholder interests are identified and addressed
- Promotes effective individual and team performance
- Manages stakeholder communications.
- Keeps proper communication with the Finance stakeholder group and provides update on progress of the various deliverables
- Facilitates external stakeholder participation.
Bachelor's degree required; 4-7 years experience required. Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, HP's Service Center and Quality Center is preferred. Must have good analytical skills and 4-7 years of experience in Business Process Management and the Pharmaceutical industry.
