Compensation and Benefits Manager required urgently on a 6 - 12 month Fixed Term Contract by my client a leading Broadcasting and Production Company.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with the HR Director/Senior team and lead on the formulation of a new reward strategy aligned to current business objectives which supports the organisation's development plans and enables the organisation to attract, retain and motivate employees.
  • Work with the HR Director to develop all aspects of reward and recognition including but not limited to compensation, bonus plans, long term incentives, pensions, benefits and formal/informal recognition schemes.
  • Develop a best in class job evaluation programme which will include the development and implementation of a transparent and objective grading structure. which will be applicable across all areas of the business
  • Lead the annual salary and bonus reviews process, providing quality benchmarking data, sourcing robust, appropriate market data and conducting survey analyses.
  • Work with senior HR team to ensure the performance management processes delivers the necessary data to support the reward strategy
  • Providing a pragmatic, creative and commercially sound reward service, whilst ensuring everyone is engaged to their full potential.
  • Work with the HR team to develop the necessary HR systems to support the legal and regulatory requirements eg equality, management data etc
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all reward issues, providing pro active and expert advice to the CEO/CFO, HR Director/HR team and key stakeholders on reward issues.
  • Deputise for the HR Director on all reward issues where applicable.

Person Specification

  • Degree calibre/CIPD qualified
  • Professional background as a Reward Specialist.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinker with ability and knowledge to provide creative and feasible recommendations.
  • Team player, collaborative in style, skilled at building strong relationships across the business and highly credible at all levels.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience of developing HR information systems and producing meaningful management information
