Daily Rate Contract - Dublin
Oracle Application Technical Engineer with at least 8 years of experience. Oracle E-business Suite R12 along with integrations with other cloud based application and internally developed tools and systems.
Responsibilities
- Be integral member in the design, analysis, development and deployment efforts for multiple enterprise application projects
- Improve the enterprise systems by leveraging existing solutions when building new technology
- Close collaboration with functional analysts and other team members (Developers, Program managers and Production Support Analysts) to produce scalable, efficient and sustainable solutions utilizing Oracle and related open source technologies
- Collaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions
- Presents technical issues and their impact to management with recommendations for solution
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
- Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur
- Estimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strong in debugging and able to quickly understand customizations already developed and deployed in production Systems
- Strong analytical skills.
- Support projects to produce scalable, flexible, efficient solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8+ year experience oracle development with a strong focus on the Oracle Order to Cash process and related technologies
- Oracle R12 experience is required, preferably at a high-tech company (Preferably 3 Implementations or at least 3 years of experience)
- Preferably strong skills in using Unix and Shell Scripting
- Previous experience in developing complex extensions using any of the following is a plus. (Oracle Forms, Java, JSP, XML, XML Publisher, Web Services, OAF)
- Strong experience in performance tuning of PLSQL for processing large data volumes.
- Previous experience in Oracle Workflow, both seeded and custom is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP technologies and Financials concepts, specifically highly complex global solutions
- Prior experience with high volume online advertising and payments systems is a plus
- Experience in python, PHP, MySQL is also a plus
