Role: UNIX AdministratorLocation: North Dublin
Salary: €50,000 - €55,000

The company:
My client is an American Multinational company with their main support for Europe
based in North Dublin. The company produces software and hardware for use in test
and measurement products. They are an extremely successful company who's
hardware and software is used by the majority of the Military, Hospitals,
Manufacturing companies and Universities throughout the world.
You will be part of the team that supports all European offices. They are based in
bright, modern offices and ideally location in North Dublin. You will be joining a
global team with 8 based in Dublin. You will be the type of person that is a good
communicator (as you will be dealing with global counterparts), very approachable,
and will put themselves forward with new ideas.
Some of what you will be doing includes:
- Building Linux systems
- Working with Solaris SAN
- Performance tuning
- Deployment of new platforms and applications
Skills you need:
- Solaris and Linux, Redhat (an expert in one or the other)
- SAN storage (preferably Hitachi)
- Oracle (would be nice)
