Experience Essential* Significant work experience in positions with significant QA responsibility
* Significant medical device experience
* Significant auditing experience against recognised standards Desirable
* Experience working under own initiative and in planning and prioritising work Qualifications Essential
* GCSE Level A-C, or equivalent in Mathematics and English
* Degree level or equivalent tertiary technical qualification (degree, HND or equivalent) in one of the areas deemed suitable by the Notified Body Code of Conduct [e.g. qualifications in sciences, engineering not humanities]
* Medical device training (product specific , ISO 14971 etc) Desirable
* Medical Devices lead auditor or ability to achieve this status within a year
Skills
Essential *
Good working knowledge of medical device management systems, standards, medical device compliance and auditing techniques
* Effective interpersonal skills, able to develop good working relationships with colleagues
* Detailed understanding of global medical device regulations Desirable
* Ability to identify and capitalise on any potential to maximise sales/revenue/LC
* Ability to motivate and coach others
