Cost Estimator, London, 6-12 months rolling contract, £Neg
My client is looking for a Cost Estimator to work with their Programme and/or Project Managers and other team members to analyse and report on the cost status of works.
The Cost Estimator must have thorough knowledge of company procedures, estimating techniques, all engineering disciplines, cost control systems and accounts. The Cost Estimator must have the ability to estimate within discipline area all types of projects/contract plus ability to coordinate and supervise group work effort.
The Cost Estimator must have the ability to produce Estimates that can be substantiated and are professional in format to the required degree of accuracy. The Cost Estimator must be able to read and decipher drawings (P&ID's, Iso's, Line lists, etc) to determine quantities, specifications and the full scope of the estimate
My client provides Project Services across numerous industries, including; Rail, PetroChem, pharmaceutical, nuclear and heavy engineering. This is a long-term, multi-project opportunity for a Cost Estimator.
