Financial Reporting Manager, Surrey, £40,000-£45, month fixed-term contract)
A global retail and services giant in Surrey requires a Financial Reporting Manager to cover a maternity contract for 12 months. The role requires a dynamic and experienced individual who can come in and head up the small Reporting team. Previous experience in a similar capacity is essential as the client will need somebody who can come in and really hit the ground running.
Duties for the role will include:
*Preparation of month end and year end financial packs with commentary
*Budget preparation and review
*Management, mentoring and training of a small team
*Monthly departmental expense reports
*Quarter end debtor analysis
*Client profit share statements
*Preparations and review of income statements, balance sheets and schedules
*Actively promote improvements to existing processes
*Taxation returns
*External reporting to clients and stakeholders
A professional accountancy qualification is not necessarily a prerequisite and QBE candidates will be considered in equal merit. It is however necessary that candidates have experience in a similar role, have advanced excel skills and have preferably used PeopleSoft before.
