Market Data Analyst - Banking - Hong Kong
A specialist vendor is about to embark on a global initiative at a top tier investment bank which will review the banks cross product market data spend and recommend cost saving solutions. This is a cross-region project that will involve resources in Hong Kong, London and New York.
The bank is in the process of reviewing spend on Market Data Vendors and services, and has engaged with the vendor to provide consultancy and information transfer to each trading desk as to the range of market data products and services currently available. The aim of the initial review is to switch a portion of market data providers and services which will lead to effective cost saving to the bank while also maintaining competitive edge.
The vendor is seeking a market data professional with a strong commercial and analysis background who is experienced at educating and presenting information to trading desks in a concise and empathetic manner. You will have in depth knowledge of a range of market data products and services and be comfortable working in a consultative capacity on a global initiative. It is essential that you are strong team player and are open and transparent with findings which will be recorded centrally as part of the project deliverables.
This is a significant and sensitive project which aims to streamline a major investment banks' market data spend while maintaining performance and customer satisfaction.
