Description
We are looking for a front-end engineer who is an expert in ExpressionEngine in order to assist our creative team on a short-term project.
Our design team is completely redesigning our website and is needing some help in front-end development and integration with ExpressionEngine. We are looking for someone who is familiar with solving problems in HTML5 video on desktop and mobile spaces.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting our creative team in redesigning our website. A significant portion of the work will likely be configuring and integrating templates with ExpressionEngine and plugins. Some time will also be spent writing HTML + CSS + Javascript. Plugins may also be assigned, if you have experience doing so.
Time commitment:
We need someone who is available 15-20 hours per week for 6-9 months, starting in April or May 2013.
Required proficiency:
- HTML5 — especially experience with HTML5 video
- CSS3 — SASS or LESS will be used
- Javascript + jQuery/Prototype + AJAX + JSON
- Responsive Design
- ExpressionEngine integration (including plugins/add-ons)
Also desirable but not required:
- ExpressionEngine plugins/add-on development
- API development in EE
- PHP
- GIT
