SENIOR SHAREPIONT DEVELOPER - 6MTH+ DAILY RATE CONTRACT - DUBLIN, IRELAND - MULTINATIONAL COMPANY
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Solution Architect and business engagement to clarify business requirements and write technical documentation to support the development process.
- Be the key developer in implementation of any SharePoint project in accordance with the agreed programme of work - to include inter alia, working as part of a team to identify the business requirements, design, test, enhance and rollout any of these SharePoint projects.
- Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the designed/developed solution.
- Actively involved in the development of complex solutions to issues which might include but are not limited to SharePoint 2010 customisation, custom solutions, performance and scalability and integration with line of business applications etc.
- Hands on experience is really key for this role.
Skills & Experience Required;
- 5+ years' experience in developing and implementing SharePoint applications (SharePoint 2010, custom development with SharePoint, deployment, OOB features, customisation etc.). At least 2+ years' experience should be in SharePoint 2010.
- Work experience and deep understanding of the following SharePoint and its associated technologies:
- WebPart and Controls Development
- Master Page and Page Layout development
- Implementation of Content Type Hub
- Search Customisation
- Business Connectivity ServicesStrong understanding of infrastructure and security concepts - basically an understanding of how to apply security
Desirable but not essential Skill set;
- HTML, CSS, XSLT, JavaScript/jQuery
- SP OOTB and custom workflows
- BI - Excel, PerformancePoint and Reporting Services
- Team Foundation Server
- PowerShell and deployment scripts
