Senior Reservoir Engineer (within the Energy Mezzanine Group) is urgently needed to fill a position inHouston,TXwith one of the largest private equity firms.Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.
As a result of the continuing growth of their energy portfolio, my client is currently seeking a qualified petroleum engineer. Incumbents will be required to perform technical analysis of existing portfolio clients and potential new Investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review consultant engineering reports to determine the reliability of engineering and economic data.
* Adjust engineering analysis and economic parameters as required.
* Identifying key credit risks (reservoir, mechanical, operational).
* Assisting with ongoing business development activities including travel
* Preparing and delivering presentations to management.
* Post-close monitoring of operations, production and economic performance.
* Utilizing existing industry contacts/knowledge to assess new projects and find potential investment opportunities
Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Petroleum Engineering.
* Minimum of 10 years of reservoir engineering experience.
* Proficient in all areas of classical reservoir engineering including reserve and economic evaluation.
* Proficient with economic modeling software including Aries and Phd Win.
* Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office.
* Strong analytical skills and ability/desire to work on an integrated team.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
