Role summary:
Manage product development initiatives, guiding exciting digital products from stakeholder intake through vendor selection and procurement or internal development, and ultimately to release and operational management or live-team transition.
The person filling this role is a vital member of the Product Design team and will play a key part in the overall success and smooth delivery of a number of exciting digital solutions.
Team members are expected to take full responsibility for their products, managing requirements intake, crafting and managing their user stories in Jira, communicating with developers and stakeholders on status, working with other product managers on overlapping releases, engaging in Agile sprint planning and working closely with design and development teams both internal and external.
Required:
- 3-5 years experience in digital, with extensive portion of that experience working directly on digital development projects coordination and tactical execution
- Digital product or project management experience
- Conversant in mobile, community, social, gamification
- Experience working in a matrixed team environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Understanding of digital production cycles
- Demonstrated strong abilities to monitor digital development
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
- Experience in team leadership and/or management
- Experience managing external partners
- Knowledge of and comfort with Scrum/Agile methodologies
