Description
Job description- The responsibility will include system maintenance, development and integration tasks related to geographic information systems (GIS) applications and databases
- Responsible for global implementation of GIS IT systems and technical problem solving of GIS IT incidents
- Collaborate with system managers and user representatives to ensure systems are properly tested and documented
- Be proactive in catching up technical advancements and contribute to more effective GIS systems and applications
- Participate in projects ranging from development to implementation of GIS applications
- Work closely with GIS users in business areas
- Work as a member of a global team working on global tasks in GIS IT and GIS data management area
- This is a technical, system analyst position with no direct reports
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (proof sufficient to satisfy US immigration laws is a requirement of employment)
- Four + years experience from relevant GIS activities
- Solid knowledge of system administration
- Two + years of experience with ArcGIS and ArcSDE server administration
- Two + years of experience with ArcGIS desktop
