The client is a large Financial Institution in Luxembourg now requiring an additional 3 experienced Software Engineers as follows:-

 Field of activity:
- Software engineering on Creation Settlement Engine and RTS.

Task/Responsibilities:

- Broad range of development activities including (not limited to):- Working with business and functional analysts to determine settlementsolutions.;
- Functional and Technical Design.;
- Coding of solutions.
- Perform applications testing (unit, integration, regression) of large scale systems.;
- Supporting all activities related to end to end testing including support for business testers.;
- Analysing production system issues and providing support to internal customers.- Performance analysis and application tuning.

Qualifications/Required skills:

At least five years experience with C++, Linux/Unix, SQL.;
- Appreciation of software development and test process for mission
critical systems.;
- Team player.;
- Quality focussed and able to make a contribution to productivity improvements.;
- Delivery and deadline driven.;
- Excellent communication skills.;
- Flexible approach to work commitments.

Additional Skills considered an advantage:
- Previous experience in an ICSD, CSD or other relevant financial institution.
- Functional understanding of key processes (ie matching, validation, settlement).;
- Experience of development methodologies and life-cycles.;
- Experience with ClearCase; - UML design experience;
- Knowledge of Perl/Shell Scripts to aid development analysis.;
- Application compilation/linking.
- Performance tuning experience.

Assignment Details:
Assignment: full-time; Location: Luxembourg; Starting date: ASAP

Duration: the assignment is foreseen to cover a period of 3 months (optional extension)
