ResourceFlow's Brussels based client are looking for an IBM Connections Architect to become part of the Team responsible for planning and designing portal solutions to support employees using IBM Connections.

The Collaboration Asset Management team is a part of the Shared Service Centre Messaging & Collaboration's, which delivers services to the group.

In addition the Architect will:

  • Provide leadership guidance over installation, configuration, integration, customization, deployment, administration and life cycle management of IBM Connections.
  • Own the overall delivery of the IBM Connections projects.
  • Hands on designer with significant experience of delivering high grade solutions.
  • Integrate IBM Connections with other IBM (SameTime, Notes, WebSphere, Portal) and non-IBM products (SharePoint, Office, Exchange)
  • Good technical understanding of Web 2.0 concepts.
  • Have high-level understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, systems and languages worldwide.
  • Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptual Design
  • Solution design and implementation of enterprise social integration using IBM Connections.
  • Candidate is expected to participate in gathering requirements, documenting, designing and developing solutions using IBM Connections and the related application integration and enhancements within the application. This includes support for application integration testing, integration development and cutover activities. The Architect will also participate in knowledge transfer to Operations and Support team.
