Funtional & Technical SAP BW Consultant6 month contract

Up to €65 per hour
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to work within the division of the Global SAP Competence Center.The Center is responsible for the SAP deployment and support of our clients various companies in Europe and required additional professionals to assist their team in the smooth running of our client branches.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
* Maintain and support the specific SAP BW solutions towards the Key Users (1st, 2nd & 3rd Line support)
* Analyze and prioritize new business requirements and changes to existing functionalities
* Close interaction and communication with financial key users (controllers)
* Close interaction and communication with SAP BW and SAP R3 IT team
* Translate the functional requirements into technical design, application configuration and testing efforts
* Report and communicate progress
* Act as a project member for new releases, updates, go lives, etc.
* Documenting all aspects of the system (e.g. process design, application configuration, test plans, etc.)
Technical profile requirements
* At least 2-3 years of functional and technical experience in the BW/Integrated Planning area
* Experience with at least one full implementation in SAP BW environment
* Good knowledge of the specific financial business processes (COPA, Cost Centers, Internal Orders)
* Good knowledge of the SAP BW authorization set-up
* Be able to perform reading and debugging of ABAP programs and guide developers
* Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (SDLC, CSV, GmP, …)
Methodology/Certification requirements
* Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
* Additional certification is a plus
