Scrum Master / Agile Coach - Digital Transformation - Online DevelopmentA global publishing organisation is currently recruiting for a Scrum Master / Agile Coach for a large, digital transformation project.
The successful scrum master will need to come from a strong development background and have commercial experience of introducing agile into a waterfall environment. A strong track record of managing multiple 3rd party suppliers over a distributed development model is a must.
The successful candidate will be involved with 3 projects, which are running concurrently; single sign on, eCommerce solution, and an internal MIS project. The scrum master will be tasked with coaching the development team into an agile way of working and ultimately transitioning away from a waterfall approach. They will also be responsible for the traditional scrum master duties, such as; leading scrum teams made up of product owners, developers, technical leads etc, facilitating Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews, whilst removing any impediments along the way.
A significant exposure and background in large software development projects is necessary, as is knowledge of facilitating agile processes and making them work in a large, complex organisations.
The client is looking for somebody who can influence change with an immediate start on an initial 3-month contract.
