Our client designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products, from wireless, networking and consumer entertainment solutions to imaging, automotive, security and storage devices.Due to continued success they require an Information Developer/Technical Author to join their Technical Communications team on a 6 months contract
The requirements of this role will be the following; Plan, track, report, and manage single document projects; Write topic-based content that maximizes comprehension and ease to use; Convert legacy content to comply with the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standard; Analyze legacy content for reuse potential; Incorporate review comments; Ensure the output complies with corporate standards.
To be considered for this role you will have experience/skills in the following; Demonstrable experience of Working in DITA environment; Demonstrable experience of creating and maintaining DITA compliant content; Demonstrable experience of working with topic-based information in a Component Content Management System (CCMS); An understanding of the documentation production cycle; ARM architecture; ARM assembler; Software development tools; XML technologies; C, C++; Ixiasoft CCMS; Oxygen XML; Vector graphics package; Animation software and interactive e-learning software.
