Description
A South Yorkshire based company is currently on the market for an experienced Software Engineer for an ongoing project working with digital data. They are keen to appoint a contractor for a six month period at the first instance, although it is expected that there will be room for extension with further projects currently being planned.This is an interesting and challenging piece of work where you will be designing and developing software tools and work-flows for this data management company.
Communication skills are a must for this role, it will often be user facing and will require you to elicit requirements and communicate between teams.
You must have a proven track record in:
- Strong understanding of JAVA technologies, methodology and process
- XML
- Experience of scripting languages such as Python
- Experience of structured software development methodologies
- TDD & Unit Testing experience
