Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Serve as Informatica subject expert. Working with Client on extensive data integration and transformation using latest Informatica PowerCenter tool set to update data warehouse.
Work both independently as well within a team environment
Required Skills:
- Technical background with majority directly related to Informatica connecting to multiple database environments.
- Must have strong ETL experience using Informatica PowerCenter (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Mappings, Mapplets, and Transformations
- Experience in versioning and managing/deployment groups in informatica environment.
- Should have Metadata manager experience.
- Expertise in working with Teradata and using TPT.
- Deep understanding of Teradata architecture.
- Experience on Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data.
- Proficiency in writing Teradata queries.
- Experience on working with native TPT and BTEQ on unix/linux.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in authoring technical documentation and performing reviews, design, data manipulation, and creative problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to do production support and resolve issues during non-business hours.
- Experience in tuning of ETL processes and optimization of SQL queries.
