Description
*Top Tier Investment Bank looking for a contractor to join their cash equities product control team for 6 months. There is potential for this role to become permanent at the end of the contact term*
This is a great opportunity to someone to join a dynamic team with an opportunity to build relationships across the business and build a strong platform within various business streams.
Production of a comprehensive daily trading P&L and balance sheet along with monthly reconciliation of P&L to the general ledger
Execution of regular independent price verification
Ensuring that the appropriate accounting principles are applied
Partnering with the Front Office and other support groups (operations technology & risk) in facilitating new products and initiatives and developing and reporting management accounting information to the business.
Initiating & driving process and control improvement
Experience:
4-8 years experience in accounting & product control
Ideally Accounting Qualified
Knowledge of Equities (Cash or Derivatives)
