Oracle E-Business Suite, Financials, Projects, Purchasing, Timesheets, Oracle Sales & Order ManagementWe are urgently seeking a Senior Business Systems Developer/Support Analyst for a major client in Middlesex.
This role requires an experienced technical-functional developer with experience of supporting and enhancing the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Our client is an established user of the Oracle E-Business Suite and uses the following modules: Financials (GL / AP/ AR / CE / FA / Expenses); Projects (PA / Project Management); Purchasing (PO / iProcurement); Timesheets (OTL); Oracle Sales;
Order Management (OM / INV)
Ideally you will have been working in a project-based environment and will have recent experience of Oracle R12.1.3
Role Responsibilities:
Understand system problems, liaise with business users and implement solutions.
Raise Service Requests with Oracle to resolve bugs; report back progress to users; test supplied patches and ensure final resolution of issue.
Review and provide options to Change Requests; manage and deliver agreed changes.
Non-Technical Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to interpret and evaluate information critically, challenge suggestions and recognise assumptions. Fluent English essential.
Experienced at writing accurate and clear documentation - e.g. functional specs; solution designs for change requests / project-work
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people
Ability to be able to prioritise according to business needs
Able to self-manage and be confident in delivering minor projects with minimal supervision
Accountancy Knowledge expected
Functional skills: Strong understanding of at least 2 of the following - Financials (AP/AR/GL/FA/CE), Projects (Accounting and Management), Order Management, Inventory
Technical Skills: SQL, Workflow, PL/SQL
