Role - Implementation Analyst - Global Payments - Transaction Banking - Edinburgh - £380/day

Purpose of the Programme

Our client, a leading UK retail bank requires the services of an Implementation Analyst to work on the Transactional Banking Transformation Programme to look to enhance online channel proposition for our customers.

Purpose of the role

The Implementation Analyst will be responsible for the Implementation elements of the online channel project for Global Payments, this role requires competent execution of analysis activities including:

  • Responsibility for the end to end delivery of Global Payment's implementation activity for each project within the online channel Portfolio.
  • Document and deliver the implementation collateral for Global Payments including the attaining Global Payments stakeholder and Go Live governance agreement.
  • Co-ordinate and provide rollout of business readiness to Global Payments capabilities including colleague comms and training oversight, and Command and Control over implementation events
  • Minimise risk of inconsistency throughout the life cycle of the project by consulting with Global Payment business analysts to providing oversight of each projects Study and Design solutions.
  • Interact with the central BAU Portfolio team including attending project meetings, the review, circulation and co-ordination of sign off with Global Payment stakeholders of BAU Portfolio level documentations and aligning Global Payments collateral with central project collateral.
  • Minimizes exposure to issues and risks by controlling the Project through use of standard documentation (eg RAID logs, Status Reports etc.) as well as escalation where necessary to the Senior Management Team.

Core Skills

  • Strong implementation analysis skills and experience with evidence of successfully delivering complex projects for the Business Team within an organisation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and previous experience of consulting with mixed teams of permanent member of staff, contractors and consultants.
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to handling information, activities etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of other parties eg Business Stakeholders, IT, Industry.

Desirable Skills

  • Business Analysis and Implementation experience on projects within the Financial Sector
  • Experience working in Payments.
