Description
- Contract Duration: 6 months initial + extentions
- Design and create subcomponents and assemblies for high performance electric motors.
- Carry out analysis of design through calculations, simulation and correlation.
- Support dFMEA activities.
- Deploy relevant design, development and problem solving tools.
- Support the design cycle from concept to product launch.
- Support in-house motor manufacturing to improve and maintain manufacturability.
Essential:
- Experience of mechanical design and analysis with a good appreciation of manufacturing technologies.
- Geometrical tolerancing skills.
- Flexibility to adapt in an exciting fast paced working environment.
Desirable:
- Experience of developing products.
- Finite modelling skills or awareness.
- Experience of electromechanical components and interfaces ideally for rotating machines.
- Experience of highvolume manufacture of electric motors.
