SharePoint Solutions Engineer
This experienced professional applies a broad range of knowledge in information management and related computer knowledge to develop solutions and perform configuration of SharePoint servers and farms. Duties include preparing technical documentation, developing technical solutions, implementation solutions and ensure these solutions follow best practices.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deploy SharePoint Server and related services in multi-server, enterprise-class farms
  • SharePoint service application configuration and tuning
  • Configure and manage authentication providers and integrate external authentication sources using Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, and other mechanisms
  • Monitor and tune SharePoint environment performance during initial implementation
  • Works on portions of larger, complex projects in support of solution design
  • Preparation of technical documentation to SAS70 and / or ISO20000 standards
  • Performs under deadline as member of a quick-response team
  • Plan database configuration and capacity
  • Proactive administrative support of SharePoint Server and incident management for level 2 and level 3 incidents
  • Communicates with end-users by phone or in person


  • Education
    Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience; Microsoft certification for SharePoint 2010 preferred but not required
