Real Staffing are recruiting on behalf of a large NHS Trust in London which requires a confident Management Accountant to cover a maternity leave during a key period of the financial calendar.
This is an ideal opportunity for a developing Management Accountant who wants to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with the freedom to work on their own initiative. The successful candidate must have strong systems skills with a comprehensive understanding of the month end closedown cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Divisional Finance Manager
- Budget setting and forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Co-ordinating the month-end closedown process
- Supporting the year-end closedown process
- Liaising with budget holders and resolving queries
- CIP monitoring, tracking and reporting
- Financial support for business cases
- Excel data manipulation (V-lookups, pivot tables)
- Oracle reporting
- Ad-hoc duties where required
Essential skills and experience:
- Management Accountant (band 5/6)
- NHS Hospital (Acute or Foundation Trust)
- Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables)
- Oracle system
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
