About the job:
We are looking for an experience Windows 7 Desktop Technician to be brought on for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. Even though this a contract the possibility of extension of the contract is always an option.
In this position you will:
- Assist with rolling out Windows 7 to 1100 PCs in
- Provide post migration support for users being migrated to Windows 7.
- Other duties may include other technical tasks related to carrying out a desktop and laptop hardware refresh project.
- Client imaging, installation of software, and restoring user data
Requirements:
- Experience in an IT environment supporting end users.
Customer service oriented approach. - Ability to troubleshoot Windows issues related to hardware/software
installations. - Experience supporting Windows 7 Rollouts
- Experience with installation of both desktop and laptop hardware.

Technician must be able to quickly grasp customer imaging methods, and software deployment procedures and practices. Also, the technician will be responsible for meeting all project deadlines as outlined by the customer. Ability to perform lifting of 20lbs and to work in confined spaces.
Candidate should be local. If not, then all inclusive rate.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $14.00-$15.00/hr
It is required that all contractors complete a background check and drug screen report. They must pass a drug screen with a positive clearance and the background check without the following convictions on their record.
