Description
A top financial firm is currently looking for a Senior Oracle Developer for their office in Jersey City to join the U.S Regulatory team.This is a 6+ month contract role that they are looking to extend or turn full time.
The rate is based upon experience, but they are looking for a Senior consultant.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Oracle 10/11g from a Development perspective
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts with proven experience in both
- Expertise in SQL and PL SQL
- Strong Oracle performance tuning experience preferably in the data warehouse space
- Strong Data modeling background with emphasis on Physical modeling
- Star schema
- Physical architecture (partitioning, cluster)
- Working with large databases - multi terabytes
- Unix /Linux command line interface and shell scripting
